Privacy
What this shop stores, what it does not, and who else sees it.
Cookies
This shop shows no cookie notice because it sets no cookie to follow you. The few it does set are there because you did something that needs them:
- Your bag. The product ids and quantities in it, nothing else. It expires after 30 days.
- The country you chose in a delivery check, so the checkout shows the same estimate. It expires after 14 days.
- Your sign-in, only if you make or use an account.
- That you have seen today's offer, on a day there is one, so it is not put in front of you twice. It expires after a day and a half.
What we count
We count visits in our own log: the page, where the link came from, phone or desktop, and the browser's own description of itself. A visit is counted under a code made on our server from your address, your browser and the date. The code is thrown away at midnight and is never stored on your device. There is no advertising pixel and no third-party analytics, and the log is never sold and never leaves our server.
When you buy
You pay in PayPal's own window, with your PayPal account or a card. Card numbers never touch this shop. PayPal sends us your name, your email, the delivery address and, if you gave PayPal one, a phone number. We keep those with your order, together with what you bought and what you paid, because the warehouse needs them to deliver it and you need them to track it. You do not need an account to buy.
Your account, if you make one
Your email, your name if you gave one, your password as a hash we cannot reverse, and the delivery address you saved.
Emails
We email you about your order: the confirmation, the tracking number, and once, about ten days after it arrives, a short note asking how it is going. If you asked for our first-bowl guide or for news, you get the guide, a note when something is back in stock, and new arrivals - your address kept only after you confirmed it - and every one of those emails has a one-click way out.
Who else sees it
- PayPal takes the payment and sees what PayPal needs for that. In its window, PayPal's own privacy terms apply. The scripts this shop carries are its own and written into the page; the checkout is the only page that loads a script from another company, PayPal's, because the button cannot be drawn without it.
- Our supplier's warehouse gets your name, the delivery address and the phone number, because somebody has to put them on the parcel.
- Our email provider receives your email address and the message, in order to deliver it.
- An address service, photon.komoot.io, receives the letters you type into the street box on your account page, so it can suggest real addresses. What goes is the letters in that one box and nothing else: not your name, not your email, not your order. It happens only while you are typing there, from the third letter on; if you would rather it did not, type the address in full and ignore the suggestions.
- Product photographs on some pages are served by the supplier's own image host, so loading those pages shows it your address the way any picture on the web does. Our own pictures come from this shop.
Nobody else, and nothing is ever sold.
Removing it
Ask, and we delete your order record, except what we are required by law to keep for tax. Clearing your cookies removes the bag and the country. The link at the bottom of any newsletter email removes you from the list for good.
